Being the capital city of New Zealand and with almost 400,000 residents, Wellington is the second most populated urban area of the country. Located on the south western tip of the North Island, between the spectacular Cook Straight the Rimutaka Range.
Wellington's urban sprawl is actually made up of four cities.
